In a stunning turn of events late Tuesday afternoon, an average middle-aged man reportedly achieved “full temporal transcendence” after finally locating the keys he’d been missing since Sunday evening.
The man, who insists on being referred to only as “Chrono” now, claims that retrieving his keys from beneath a throw pillow on his couch is proof that he has “mastered nonlinear consciousness.”
“I bent the fourth dimension to my will,” said Chrono, adjusting a pair of 3D movie glasses he insists are “temporal lenses.” “The past is just a suggestion, and I denied it.”
Witnesses confirm Chrono stood motionless for at least 45 minutes, eyes closed, muttering things like “show me the coordinates” and “the cosmos knows.” When the keys were found, a neighbor says he screamed “Eureka!” and immediately tried to fashion a cape out of a shower curtain.
Experts remain divided. While some neuroscientists suspect chronic sleep deprivation and overconsumption of cold brew may be to blame, local conspiracy theorist Randy “The Portal Guy” Jenkins insists this proves “the Awakening is upon us.”
Chrono has since launched a coaching program titled Quantum Retrieval: Unlocking Your Inner Keys, available for $49.99, or three payments of spiritual alignment.
In other news, Chrono is still banned from the local IKEA for trying to “reverse engineer the labyrinth” and shouting “Minotaur, reveal yourself!”
