Article I: We Serve Our Constituents, Not Ourselves
We pledge to represent the people who elected us—not our donors, not our egos, and not our future book deals. Our job is to listen, legislate, and lead with humility, not hubris.
Article II: We Reject Soft Fascism in All Its Forms
We will not weaponize bureaucracy, silence dissent, or hide behind “security” to justify surveillance. We will not become the very thing we claim to oppose. Power is a tool, not a trophy.
Article III: We Stand for Justice—Here and Abroad
We believe in civil rights, voting rights, and human rights. We will not ignore suffering beyond our borders, nor will we pretend domestic injustice is someone else’s problem. Our values do not stop at the state line.
Article IV: We Will Not Gaslight the Public
We will not twist facts, dodge accountability, or pretend progress is happening when it’s not. If we fail, we’ll say so. If we succeed, we’ll share credit. Transparency is not optional—it’s foundational.
Article V: We Sign This Because We Still Believe
We believe in democracy, not just as a system, but as a shared responsibility. We believe in the power of organizing, the necessity of dissent, and the promise of a future shaped by compassion, not control.
